    Keep your level requirements

    If a role asked for B2 before, it can ask for B2 now. Both report on CEFR, so the requirement in your job descriptions and your ATS does not need rewriting.

    Send the ten free assessments to colleagues or recent hires whose level you already trust. Any two tests disagree near the boundary between levels, and this shows you where ours sits before a hiring decision rides on it.

Questions people ask

What happened to Pipplet?
ETS, which owned Pipplet, announced in July 2025 that it was discontinuing the platform, and it closed on 20 December 2025. Reports that were not downloaded before then are no longer available.
Will a B2 from Evalingo mean the same as a B2 from Pipplet?
Both are reported on the CEFR scale, so the levels describe the same abilities. No two tests agree on every candidate, particularly near a boundary, which is why we suggest running your ten free assessments on people whose level you already know before you rely on it.
Which skills does Evalingo test?
Speaking and writing, each scored separately on five dimensions and each given its own CEFR level. Speaking takes about 7 minutes and writing about 15. We do not score listening or reading comprehension as separate skills.
How quickly do results come back?
Usually within a few minutes of the candidate finishing. Scoring is automatic, so there is no wait for a human rater, and nothing to schedule on either side.
Do we have to talk to sales to switch?
